Entonces que le debo yo a Steve? veamos llvm, clang, libc++ 100% c++11, o webkit (usado en chromium-browser), algun aporte a FreeBSD que no tenga en mente ahora mismo, de eso nada veo que se mencione, solo estúpidas adulaciones de fanboy, gente que llama genio por ignorancia para el ignorante cualquiera es genio, también leí que RMS salió a criticarlo, será porque uso gcc y no clang que prefiero la postura de RMS, o me quedo con Einstein al pensar que no hay que divinizar a la gente, también será el Argentino que hace que todos los muertos sean buenos. Steve como persona fuiste un muy mal ejemplo, como informatico no inventaste algo que yo use ni que me interese, el teléfono existía antes del iphone, el reproductor mp3 existia antes del ipod, solo que para algunos, vos inventaste todo. Al empezar a usar gmail la gente me criticó por no ser libre, yo queria probarlo y ya lo probé. /&gt;Les quiero comunicar la excelente noticia de que cumplimos el objetivo, SE APROBÓ LA LEY DE BOSQUES Y LA MORATORIA A LOS DESMONTES ES COMPLETA. "NO" estan para resolver los&lt;br /&gt;problemas de los particulares, ni hacer el trabajo de otro por lo&lt;br /&gt;que suelen contestar a una forma muy molesta cuando se hace referencia&lt;br /&gt;a estos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Los usuarios de software libre debemos (moralmente hablando)&lt;br /&gt;contribuir, con los desarrolladores, usuarios, mantenedores y&lt;br /&gt;empaquetadores del software.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Las formas de colaborar pueden ser las siguientes:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Informando a las listas de correo, autor, mantenedor o grupos de&lt;br /&gt;usuarios, de la distribucion del software, sobre el funcionamiento&lt;br /&gt;correcto o incorrecto del mismo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Aportando ideas, arreglos, mejoras, traducciones, documentacion,&lt;br /&gt;etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Popularizar el software, notificando a los otros usuarios, o grupos&lt;br /&gt;de usuarios  de algun programa que resuelve un problema, o realiza&lt;br /&gt;una tarea comun que pueda ser util para otros.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Compartir ideas, inquietudes y dudas respecto a cierto software.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. Compartir el software, hacer copias, y distribuirlo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Entonces, como ayuda esto a la comunidad de software libre?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Ayuda a mantener el software funcional y libre de errores para&lt;br /&gt;todos los usuarios, todos los problemas y errores de cierto software&lt;br /&gt;deberian ser publicados en mas de un lugar publico de modo que se&lt;br /&gt;asegure el conocimiento de estos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Ayuda a mejorar el software, soporte de idiomas, facilitando el&lt;br /&gt;aprendizaje del mismo y la integracion en la comunidad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Sirve para mantener la comunidad informada de los nuevos programas&lt;br /&gt;que son usados por otros usuarios para resolver sus tareas o en el uso&lt;br /&gt;cotidiano.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Retroalimentacion para los desarrolladores y usuarios, sobre algun&lt;br /&gt;soporte que se esperaba de dicho software, nuevas ideas para mejorar&lt;br /&gt;el proyecto, ayuda a mantener activo el proyecto y motivados a los&lt;br /&gt;desarrolladores, ya que estos necesitan saber que hay usuarios del&lt;br /&gt;mismo, sin usuarios ni actividad, los desarrolladores pueden suponer&lt;br /&gt;que nadie utiliza dicho software y abandonarlo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. La distribucion del software libre es muy importante para los&lt;br /&gt;usuarios, las comunidades, y los desarrolladores, porque sume gente a&lt;br /&gt;las comunidades, populariza el software, promueve la idea de&lt;br /&gt;compartir el software libre entre los usuarios y la ayuda mutua.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Los usuarios de software no libre estan acostumbrados a adaptarse al&lt;br /&gt;software provisto por el vendedor."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lo anteriormente dicho es totalmente falso, y no debe ser asi, por lo&lt;br /&gt;que en el software libre es al reves, ya que pensamos que el software&lt;br /&gt;se hace para el usuario, y no el usuario para el software.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Las herramientas se hacen para los hombres, no los hombres para las&lt;br /&gt;herramientas".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;El software libre es modificable y adaptable al gusto y a la comodidad&lt;br /&gt;del usuario para facilitar la interaccion entre estos de manera que el&lt;br /&gt;usuario sea mas productivo a la vez de sentirse mas comodo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Asegurando la continuidad del software...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mientras existan grupos o usuarios activos de cierto software, se&lt;br /&gt;asegura la continuidad de este.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esta es mi opinion, no una ley.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sentite libre de enviarme sugerencias, type='text'></title><content type='html'>&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Permanentes ataques via ssh&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Revisando los logs de varios servidores, pude apreciar que hace tiempo estan recibiendo ataques al puerto 22 (sshd), lo cual me parecio normal, dado que siempre los he tenido, pero ahora se torna mas molesto, puesto que los ataques son desde varias IP y constantes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;en el archivos /var/log/messages se puede ver:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sep 30 05:12:00 server sshd[8147]: Invalid user webadmin from 220.125.251.21&lt;br /&gt;Sep 30 05:12:05 server sshd[8152]: User ftp not allowed because not listed in AllowUsers&lt;br /&gt;Sep 30 05:12:11 server sshd[8157]: Invalid user test from 220.125.251.21&lt;br /&gt;Sep 30 05:12:17 server sshd[8162]: User root not allowed because not listed in AllowUsers&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;para solucionar esto, decidi elegir "&lt;a href="http://denyhosts.sourceforge.net/"&gt;denyhosts&lt;/a&gt;" que agrega la lista de IP's tratando de conectarse al puerto 22 con usuarios invalidos o con varios intentos fallidos de intrusion usando claves al azar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;un problema fue, que el server a instalarle denyhosts, era accedido via ssh, por lo cual no podia darme el privilegio de fallar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;despues de lanzar el demonio denyhosts, pude ver que agrego mi direccion de IP al archivos /etc/hosts.deny, lo cual no me gusto para nada, y me puse a ver como evitar esto, finalemente lo he conseguido.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Habia que crear un archivo /var/lib/denyhosts/allowed-host con una direccion de IP por linea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;DenyHosts esta escrito en &lt;a href="http://www.python.org/"&gt;Python&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br los juegos mas famosos de disparos en primera persona (FPS), ha liberado &lt;a href="http://www.quake3arena.com/"&gt;Quake 3 Arena&lt;/a&gt; bajo licencia GPL, y pocos dias mas tarde ya disponemos de un &lt;a href="http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?quake3-1.33_alpha255"&gt;ebuild&lt;/a&gt; para &lt;a href="http://www.gentoo.org/"&gt;Gentoo&lt;/a&gt; de la mano de &lt;a href="http://icculus.org/quake3"&gt;icculus&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ahora me puedo bajar el Quake 3 Arena Gratis?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No, porque no es libre el juego completo, solo se ha liberado el lanzador del juego&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Despues de esto, que puedo esperar yo, en que me beneficiaria?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pues en que es GPL y puede ser mejorado, modificado, type='text'></title><content type='html'>Open Source Definition is wrong&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La definición de Open Source o fuente abierta está mal&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Citando la definición de &lt;a href="http://www.opensource.org/docs/definition.php"&gt;Open Source&lt;/a&gt; o Fuente Abierta, de Bruce Perens, me surgen varias inquietudes, sobre todo en el punto 9, donde dice "La licencia no debe poner restricciones en el otro software que se distribuye junto con el software licenciado.  Por ejemplo, la licencia no debe insistir que el resto de los programas distribuidos en el mismo medio deben ser software de fuente abierta."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lo cuál me parece mal, por qué si algunas personas liberan su código fuente, por que las otras no?, pero la peor parte es, qué hace una definición como esta protegiendo a programas no-libres? diciendo, para que sea libre "NO debe insistir que el resto de los programas sean libres" como se nota que Bruce Perens no es un desarrollador, ni tiene idea sobre que el daño que recibimos los usuarios, se haría un software teniendo en su licencia algo como "este programa es software libre y sólo se permite su redistribución, con otro software libre o de licencia compatible", citando licencias libres como GPL, BSD, etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sólo espero que si se hace no forme parte de la definición de "software infeccioso" de este personaje tan equivocado.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Porque a mi entender el error aquí es que el enfoca como software-libre contamina al software no-libre, lo cuál me parece totalmente a la inversa, porque es el software no-libre el que infecta al software libre, tenemos un ejemplo claro en el caso del kernel linux, es cuál es increiblemente estable, pero se convierte en algo sumamente inestable gracias al aporte de nvidia y su manejador propietario o no-libre.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Entonces?
